Our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists at Brisbane Private Hospital and nearby clinics are an important part of your recovery team.

Whether your treatment is surgical or non-surgical, they work with you to restore movement, strength, and function. Each plan is tailored to your needs, with guided exercises to ensure safe and effective healing.

If you have a shoulder condition, your rehabilitation will be led by a Physiotherapist.

For conditions affecting the elbow, forearm, wrist, or hand, you will see an Occupational Therapist.

In addition to rehabilitation, Occupational Therapists can remove sutures, change dressings, and create custom splints or braces to protect and support your limb as it heals.

While your GP manages your general health, our therapy team provides the specialised care needed to reduce the risk of stiffness, ongoing pain, or loss of function. By working closely with Dr Hope, they help you achieve a smooth, well-coordinated recovery and support you in returning to your normal activities as quickly and safely as possible.
